San Jac HEERF III Emergency Aid Grant

San Jacinto College received an additional allocation from the US Department of Education (as appropriated by the American Rescue Plan Act) to create an emergency grant fund for San Jacinto College students. The funds are intended to help students who have experienced a financial problem due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Terms of SJC Emergency Aid Grant Fund
• Must submit an Emergency Grant Fund Application.
• You must have been a San Jac student taking college credit, continuing education, dual credit, or adult education courses anytime since March 13, 2020 (the date of the COVID-19 national emergency declaration).
• Must use funds to cover expenses created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Must select a BankMobile disbursement preference (http://bankmobiledisbursements.com/refundchoices)

Award
Award amounts are $1,500 for Pell recipients and $1,000 for non-Pell recipients.

Processing
Emergency funding requests will be reviewed as there are received. Payments will be processed during the week of August 23, 2021.

Deadline
October 15, 2021, or until funds are exhausted
